Education: two-year post secondary technical diploma in chemistry and business school "ESIDEC, ICN"
After getting a two-year post-secondary technical diploma in chemistry, I entered a business school on a work-study program. I wanted two types of expertise with a maximum of professional experience. Air Liquide had an apprenticeship offer posted at the school that corresponded to my expectations. Motivated by the responsibilities I was given, the sustained work rhythm and the autonomy I acquired, I achieved my goals.
In my work-study program, I wanted to discover the business outside France. Air Liquide then offered me an internship in Central Europe. This experience was incredibly enriching. I learned to work with colleagues of different nationalities through the many trips I took to fulfill my assignment.
As this internship was satisfying for both the company and myself, my supervisors asked me to continue my assignment after I graduated. So I worked for over a year more in Vienna, in a VIE, with the sales teams of Central Europe. Before the end of my stay there, just at the right time for me, the Group’s Human Resources Department set up interviews for me for a possible permanent job.
So since November, I’ve had a full-time permanent job near Pau [southwestern France] as sales manager. Air Liquide has permitted me to work in different professions and contexts according to my expectations and competencies.
