To enable its technical experts to achieve complete professional success in their specialty, Air Liquide has created a formal recognition system for its researchers, engineers, technicians and experts.
The Technical Career Ladder (TCL) makes it possible to identify and recognize technical expertise, at the same level as managerial careers. The experts’ competencies are then made visible to the whole Group. These experts play a key role in the capitalization, transfer and dissemination of knowledge.

Since its creation in 2003, the TCL has identified and recognized more than a thousand local and Group-level experts.
The possibles uses of industrial and medical gases are limitless and it is here that innovation makes a difference. Thus, in November 2008, Air Liquide rewards its inventors, genuine actors of this innovation, within its Inventor Recognition Program, created over 10 years ago.
