Assuring the market share growth in the Buenos Aires region

What has you career path been at Air Liquide ?
I joined Air Liquide Argentina in 1995 when I started working as an assistant in the Operations Control Department. After being in charge of this Department for a couple of years, I had the chance of being expatriated to Air Liquide Paraguay when I first worked as Financial Manager, and then as General Manager of that subsidiary.

What is your current job ?
Since I moved back to Argentina in 2006, I have been working as Regional Director of Buenos Aires Region, which concentrates almost 50 % of the industrial activity in the whole country. There are 4 very different branches in this region which differ in size, activity and operations. Regarding customers, we have from small ones to very large customers where we are present with On Site generation plants in their facilities. We also have a team exclusively orientated towards new business development which is focused on finding out new possibilities in order to assure our market share growth.

What have you learned from your experience ?
Due to the different positions I have held, Air Liquide gave me the enriching possibility of learning about this business from different points of view: financial, commercial, small and large operations. In the Group there are always new challenges to be focused on as well as continuous ambitious objectives to reach which are met by working in team, and this gives us a wonderful feeling of accomplishment and encourages us to go for more!
