Equipment [ Return towards Oil & Gas]
Application of gases in your activity involves the following equipments, optimized by Air Liquide and its partners.
Cryogenic Purification
Cryogenic process takes advantage of the relative volatilities of the components of hydrogen and hydrocarbons. So the choice of a process scheme depends upon several factors, including product purity, product recovery and available utilities. Cryogenic technology is justified by multi-product recovery, such as hydrogen, methane, ethane, ethylene, propane, propylene and/or heavier components. And cryogenic technology can also be combined with AIR LIQUIDE membrane and/or PSA technology to achieve your product requirements at optimized capital and operating costs

Pressure Swing Adsorption
At AIR LIQUIDE, we have been operating hydrogen Pressure Swing Adsorption units (PSA) since 1962 for our own needs. Combined with our engineering upgrades, this field experience has enabled PSA units that are flexible and reliable. They have a high turndown ratio and can maintain both recovery and product purity by automatically adjusting cycle times. Adsorbents are selected according to the nature of the impurities that need to be removed from the hydrogen-containing streams and their capacity to offer a long cycle life.
