Bulk Gases  [ Return towards  Gases for our Customers  ]

These products are stored at the production facility in liquid phase at different temperatures and pressures depending on the gas: about -190° C and atmospheric pressure for air gases; -20° C and 20 bars for Carbon Dioxide.

From these large AIR LIQUIDE storage tanks, products are typically delivered directly to customers in insulated cryogenic trucks. Most transport is by road, but we also transport by rail, ISO container, or boat.

Bulk installations consist of :

• One or more storage tanks at various pressures and in various designs, depending on the gas (air gases or Carbon Dioxide)
• Vaporizers using the heat sources such as ambient air, electrical heating, or liquid bath of glycol (or water) heated by another source
• Pressure regulation equipment
