Carbon Dioxide
CO2 enables to sharply tune the pH of recycled mechanical or chemical pulps after an alkaline bleaching.
It can be used in the Tall Oil neutralization and for increasing the performance of paper machines.

Oxygen
Mainly used in the delignification step, it participates in the boosting of bleaching operations like alkaline extraction (Eo), in white or black liquors oxidation, polysulfure liquors production as well as combustion (lime burning kiln, boilers boosting).

Ozone
This instable gas is produced nearly by the point of use from oxygen (cryogenic tank or VSA unit). Ozone is used under 6-13 weight % variable concentrations.
