ALDYNE™ package description  [ Return towards  Gas Phase Priming: ALDYNE™  ]

ALDYNE’s main features are a specifically designed electrode housing to control the gas atmosphere in the discharge area and a gas mixing device to supply the appropriate gas mixture. The whole system is fully automated using standard PLC technology and operated by means of a friendly use Man Machine Interface (MMI). Therefore, the process is very easy to integrate without any special knowledge.



The use of ALDYNE requires minor changes for the operator. ALDYNE is an in line process that can be easily integrated to new lines, without special requirements or to existing converting lines, in replacement of Corona and coating stations, whatever the width, line speed or the type of processed material.

The whole design of the equipment and the gases used, make the process totally safe for the operators and emissions to the environment are reduced to that of pure nitrogen, the main gas used.

Air Liquide experts on ALDYNE technology will:

• analyze your converting process and raw materials
• propose alternative solutions based on ALDYNE priming
• validate these solutions through detailed testing in industrial stations at Coating Plasma Industrie - and once you are convinced, our experts will offer you a customized commercial proposal including the integration of our ALDYNE package to your converting process.

The main gas used is nitrogen, to which some simple, cost effective gaseous molecules (dopants) are added.

The dopants will be usually delivered in cylinders. Our experts will determine with you the type of nitrogen supply and the optimum delivering conditions. There are two ways to deliver nitrogen: bulk cryogenic supply and on-site generation. Any one of these technologies may be suitable depending on your volumetric consumption.
