This is the most prestigious forum of political discussion in the scope of climate protection, attracting the attention of the entire world.

Air Liquide is deeply involved in the development of technologies to help mitigate greenhouse gas emissions (through energy efficiency, Carbon Capture and Storage, second generation biofuels, photovoltaics) and to help adapt to climate change (H2 fuel cells, water treatment).

Second generation biofuels

Air Liquide is developing low-carbon intensive fuels from the residual non-food parts of crops.
The Group participates in a major demonstration project in collaboration with the Lurgi Technical Center in Karlsruhe for energy production from biomass.
