At the beginning of the year, Air Liquide in the Dominican Republic welcomed 50 orphaned children on site, in collaboration with Kids Alive, a foundation supporting their care and education.
35 volunteers from the entity organized a day focused on science and industry as well as activities such as a football match. The children took a guided visit of the site and discovered the properties of different gases such as liquid nitrogen.
For Air Liquide’s teams, it was an opportunity to create strong links with the local community. At the end of an active day, one of the guests even declared “I want to be an engineer!”.
