Since its inception in 1956, Air Liquide Ghana has played a key role in the development of the country, supported by a network of over 40 distributors and employing about 60 employees. Our sites are located in the main industrial areas of the country, in order to be as close as possible to our customers.
We supply industrial gases (argon, acetylene, nitrogen) and specialty gases to a wide range of industries: steel, automotive and fabrication, food and beverage, oil and gas, etc. We also supply medical gases (medical oxygen, nitrous oxide) and equipment to public and private hospitals through our extensive network.
Since 2014, Air Liquide Ghana has doubled its dry ice production capacity to meet the needs of our customers in the food and medical industries. This specific expertise allows us to stand out from our competitors. In addition, we are now able to refill at 300 bar pressure in nitrogen and argon for oil and gas business demands in specific quads and cylinders. This makes Air Liquide Ghana the only company in Western Africa (besides Air Liquide Nigeria) to possess this capability.

Safety, a value not a priority
Safety is not a priority – priorities change hour to hour and day to day based on what is going on in our lives, our work, and the world around us. Safety is a VALUE. A value remains constant and is formed by our environment, our families, our friends, and those around us. Our value defines who we are and is, therefore, the basis on which we make our choices and decisions – like our conscience, it directs us between right and wrong – safe and unsafe.
Corporate social responsibility
We are committed to improve our local environment and contribute to society in general. We develop our activities in Ghana with a strong commitment to ethical values and respecting all our stakeholders and local communities.
We believe in sustainable development and view it as a process for realising human development in an inclusive, connected, and equitable way.
