The fruit of a joint project between Dinno Santé, an Air Liquide subsidiary that specializes in the global treatment of patients with diabetes, and the non-profit Aide aux Jeunes Diabetiques (Aid for Young Diabetics), the application helps children between the ages of 8 and 12 to better understand diabetes. The new version of the application is now provided to manage GlucoZor® as an educational tool during education sessions conducted in hospital.
Developed in partnership with i-Lab, Air Liquide’s laboratory for new ideas, the application features GlucoZor®, a diabetic dinosaur. He invites the player to take care of him through food and entertainment while keeping glucose levels within acceptable ranges, in particular with the help of the right dose of insulin.
The new GlucoZor® version integrates new features designed by healthcare professionals and AJD. Thus, GlucoZor® is an additional educational tool that can be inserted into therapeutic education programs.
The application, available in French via Google Play, Apple Store, and the www.glucozor.fr website, also encourages the family and friends of kids with diabetes to support them in the daily management of their condition.
