Governance

Air Liquide's governance is the organization of the Group's bodies of supervision and management. It comprises the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors in action

The Board of Directors determines the major orientations of the Group, all activities included. It is therefore natural for its members to meet the teams during regular field visits.

Healthcare in Aix-en-Provence

In September 2015, the members of the Board gathered near the city of Aix-en-Provence (France) for a board meeting devoted to healthcare. A great opportunity to discuss topics ranging from innovation and geographic expansion to actions designed to increase competitiveness.

To help them better understand the operations of a Home Healthcare service provider, each member accompanied a nurse or a technician from Air Liquide on visits to the homes of patients suffering from chronic diseases requiring long term care.

Parmi les temps forts de ce séjour à Houston, la visite de l’OCC - Operations Control Center - d’Air Liquide, à la fois salle de marché pour l’énergie et centre de pilotage des unités de production et canalisations du Groupe dans la région.
Among the highlights of this trip in Houston, the visit of Air Liquide's OCC - Operations Control Center - which serves as both an energy trading room and a command and control network for the Group-managed plants and pipes throughout the region.

Large Industries in Houston

In 2014, the Board members went to Houston, in the heart of one of the world's largest industrial basins. On the agenda: take a closer look at the Large Industries business line, talk about the new energy playing field and review Air Liquide's latest innovations. An intense program including expert presentations, facility tours and fruitfull discussions with the local management team and operational field staff.
