Air Liquide Japan held a workshop on hydrogen energy for elementary and junior high school students, at Bando Kobe Science Museum in Kobe City on August 21st and 22nd.
This event was organized by the Energy Policy Division of the Kobe City Planning and Coordination Bureau to promote and raise awareness of hydrogen energy.More than 50 kids and their parents participated in it.
At the event, children took part in environmental quizzes on global warming and potential roles of hydrogen in the future. They also learned about the mechanism of a fuel cell through experiments such as making a fuel cell out of familiar materials and using the generated electricity to play an electronic music box.
We will continue to engage in such activities so that people can feel familiar with hydrogen and deepen their knowledge about environmental issues and hydrogen energy.
