Shosholoza, our program for local talent
The Shosholoza program (meaning “moving forward” in Zulu) was initiated by Air Liquide in order to recruit and develop young candidates, who might become managers of tomorrow. We have launched this program in Nigeria since 2014, and started selecting students in the most recognized nigerian universities. They will then have the opportunity to join Air Liquide for a two-year program.

I joined the Shosholoza programme in February 2014 for a period of two years where I did rotations in Large Industries Marketing, Operations Control and Large Industries Operations (Richards Bay). The programme gives you an opportunity to learn quickly from different areas of the company under the mentorship of a director. It also helped in fast tracking my growth and knowledge in all aspects of Air Liquide’s businesses as well as creating the avenue for networking with employees from all over the globe.
