Air Liquide Arabia (ALAR), based in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia, is a joint venture company between Air Liquide and Saudi Industrialization and Energy Services Company (TAQA). The company was created for producing and marketing large volumes of industrial gases in the Kingdom, primarily via on-site plants and pipeline networks. ALAR invested well over $500 million in the Kingdom and currently has operations in Yanbu, Jubail, and Qurrayah, supplying customers with hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, and argon. We offer critical industrial gas supply solutions to customers in the refining, petrochemical, and metals industries.
Our various investments contribute to energy efficiency and conservation of the Kingdom's natural resources, the development of downstream industry, reduced emissions, increased environmental performance, and employment opportunities for Saudi nationals via its hydrogen pipeline networks.
ALAR has its footprints years back in Saudi Arabia and grew part of this society, the company’s aim was always to develop and nurture the young talents in the country, which took place by providing and developing Saudi talents in diversified positions since its establishment in 2008.

TAQA, based in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, plays the role of a project developer. Hydrogen is a key product for the refining and petrochemical industries.
Hydrogen is used to remove sulfur to produce clean-burning motor fuels and to produce petrochemicals, which are used in our everyday lives.
In addition to our operations in Yanbu, ALAR builds and operates hydrogen pipeline network systems. As in other world-class industrial clusters, the hydrogen pipeline network will provide customers with an economical and reliable alternative to existing hydrogen supply solutions, contributing to enhance their competitiveness.
