The new 20 MW PEM electrolyser is equipped with Cummins technology, and is the largest operating unit of its kind in the world.
Producing up to 8.2 tonnes per day of low-carbon hydrogen, this production unit will avoid the emission of around 27,000 tonnes of CO2 per year compared to the traditional hydrogen production process. It thus confirms the viability of this technology on an industrial scale and marks an important step in having hydrogen play a key role in the energy transition.
To learn more about it, watch the video below, and stay connected to Stock & Share! We will soon have the opportunity to get more into details about the importance of this production site in the development of low-carbon hydrogen.
