As an Air Liquide shareholder, you have a number of shareholding options: direct registered, intermediary registered and bearer shares. Before buying shares, you should have a clear understanding of each option. Read on to learn about the key features.

Being a direct registered shareholder

As a direct registered shareholder, you buy your shares directly from Air Liquide. Your shares are registered in your name in the Air Liquide register in a securities account that you opened with us and which is maintained directly by Shareholder Services.

Who manages my account, and who is my point of contact?

It is Air Liquide.

What fees are applicable?

At Air Liquide, there are no account handling fees. Your securities account costs you nothing! The brokerage fee for stock market orders is among the lowest on the market: 0.10% excluding tax for stock orders placed via your personal online account, with no minimum required. This for purchases paid in full by SEPA direct debit or by bank card (for transactions up to € 3,000), as well as for sales.

Am I eligible to free shares when they are attributed?

Yes!

Am I eligible for the loyalty bonus?

Yes! This adds 10% to the total dividend received and the number of free shares attributed (after you have held your shares for two full calendar years)

Who invites me to the Annual General Meeting?

Your invitation will be sent to you by Air Liquide Shareholder Services.

Are there any special features for direct registered shareholders?

You benefit from the expertise of Shareholder Services advisors, who will help you with all your formalities.

If you subscribe to our communications, you will receive emails with updates about Air Liquide and practical information about your life as a shareholder. You can manage your subscription preferences in the "My profile" section of your Personal account.

Being an intermediary registered or bearer shareholder

If you bought your shares from your bank or financial intermediary, your shares are held in a securities account or a share savings plan with that institution.

Once you have purchased your shares, they are immediately "bearer shares."

Being a bearer shareholder

Who manages my account, and who is my point of contact?

Your financial institution.

What fees are applicable?

Your handling, management and brokerage fees will depend on your financial institution.

Am I eligible to free shares when they are attributed?

Yes!

Am I eligible for the loyalty bonus?

No. You need to be a registered shareholder to be eligible for the loyalty bonus. To do this, simply ask your financial institution to convert your shares into intermediary registered shares.

Who invites me to the Annual General Meeting?

Your financial institution.

Are there any special features for bearer shareholders?

You are not registered in the company's records, so Air Liquide does not know who you are.

Being an intermediary registered shareholder

You can ask your financial institution at any time to convert your bearer shares into intermediary registered shares.

Your shares will still be held in the same securities account or share savings plan that was opened with your financial institution, which will remain your point of contact.  Nevertheless, once the conversion is complete, your shares will be registered in your name in the Air Liquide register and you can benefit from the same benefits as registered shareholders, including the famous 10% loyalty bonus.

Only you can initiate a request for conversion to intermediary registered shares. You just need to send the form below to your bank, or make the request online if your bank allows this.
