Air Liquide's deep tech start-ups accelerator

Created in 2019, ACCELAIR supports start-ups and innovative companies in the development of new technologies.

Accelerate technological start-ups

The mission of ACCELAIR is to offer Air Liquide's expertise to deep tech start-ups in order to help them grow and industrialize their offer, and create opportunities for the Group to open up new markets. The young companies supported by ACCELAIR develop innovative technologies in areas related to energy transition, industry 4.0, aeronautics, agri-food, green chemistry or health.

An offer adapted to their needs

ACCELAIR offer is adapted to the needs of each start-up, and includes access to individual and secure laboratories located on Air Liquide’s Campus Innovation Paris. ACCELAIR also allows start-ups to benefit from the expertise of Air Liquide and its partners to solve complex scientific, technical or industrial issues more rapidly.

 Since 2020, ACCELAIR has supported around ten start-ups which have been able to accelerate their growth and raise more than 40 million euros.


An offer dedicated to deep-tech start-ups and companies

ACCELAIR supports start-ups that already completed their incubation phase and developed their first prototypes or will have to do so. They successfully raised money through a first financial round (seed, round A) and wish to accelerate their technological and pre-industrial development. ACCELAIR is also aimed at more mature start-ups or VSEs, SMEs and ETIs that are already marketing their solutions and wish to resume a new R&D phase to improve them.

What do all these companies have in common? They develop innovative technologies in areas related to energy and environmental transition, industry 4.0, aeronautics, agri-food, green chemistry or health in connection with the activities of the Air Liquide Group.

A tailor-made hosting offer

Located on the Air Liquide Paris Innovation Campus, in the heart of the Paris-Saclay area, ACCELAIR offers innovative companies accommodation conducive to their technological development. 

They can access pre-equipped individualized experimentation laboratories in which they can quickly test their technologies and solutions in complete safety, as well as offices or private open spaces.

ACCELAIR is also a living area promoting exchanges between start-uppers, with equipped meeting rooms, a conference room and a kitchen with terrace, as well as quality services (high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the area, reception service, mail service, cleaning and maintenance service, etc.).

A 100% personalized support program

Joining ACCELAIR also means having access to the know-how of the Air Liquide Group and its partners' experts, who support the selected start-ups and innovative companies, to quickly solve the problems they identified and grow in skill.

Thus, our experts can accompany the set-up of laboratories, provide scientific and technical support, boost the development of markets and the industrialization of technologies, help to raise funds, as well as provide cross-functional support (human resources, marketing, communication, etc.).
