"Ville européenne des sciences": CO2 tamed

  • News
  • Innovation

Every year, "la Fête des sciences" permits a very young public, during a week, to become familiar with science. This year, it is taking on a European dimension with scientists who have come from all over Europe.

Air Liquide, a technological group that each day innovates in solutions for preserving life and the environment, is involved in this event.

Our experts will present the Group’s innovations in the area of reducing greenhouse gases, more specifically, oxycombustion technologies that enable the capture and storage of CO2 in the subsoil.

These technologies, particularly adapted to reducing emissions in power plants, are currently tested by Air Liquide on several pilot sites in Europe and America.

The Group’s high-tech activities will also be represented through developments concerning Planck, the satellite that will be launched in the near future to explore the limits of the universe.

Come and see us at the Grand Palais to Paris (France), November 14 to 16 at:

  • The Observatory of CO2 tamed – Booth 2, Place de l’Europe, in partnership with Total, the IFP and the BRGM
  • The Maternity of Universe – Booth 20, Place de la Lune, in partnership with the CNRS, the INSU and the IN2P3
