Air Liquide receives the 2010 Best Innovator Award

Air Liquide has won this year’s Best Innovator Award, presented by AT Kearney in collaboration with the French economic daily “Les Echos”, rewarding innovation within the Group.

This award, created in 2004 and organized in 13 countries, rewards companies that integrate the criteria of strategy, organization, culture and performance into their innovation process. 3400 companies competed for this award in 2010.

The jury particularly appreciated the alignment of Air Liquide’s innovation strategy with that of the Group, and its structured innovation process, which is shared and open to its partners.

The Best Innovator 2010 Award was presented on 5 May 2010 to François Darchis, a Member of Air Liquide group's executive committee.

Innovation has always been at the heart of Air Liquide’s strategy. Every day, some 4000 Innovation and Technologies employees, with 30 different nationalities, contribute to the acceleration of the Group’s growth and the optimisation of its industrial practices, as well as drawing the outlines of tomorrow’s world.

Air Liquide submitted 280 patents in 2009.
