Air Liquide and École Polytechnique, partners in innovation acceleration

April 20th, Air Liquide participated in the École Polytechnique inauguration of the “Innovation Management” Chair 2nd phase, at the Graduate School campus in Paris-Saclay.

The "Innovation Management" Chair has been created in October 2005. In 2011, Air Liquide signed a 5-year-collaboration within the 2nd Chair phase.

Five other industrial partners joined in: MBDA, Renault, Safran, SEB and Valeo.

The objective is to develop and disseminate knowledge and best practices in the 4 following research topics:

  • Breakthrough innovation management
  • Global deployment of innovation process
  • From product innovation to Services / Product innovation
  • Innovative management of ecosystem

Air Liquide participation consists of joined research programs for the development of specific methodologies to accelerate innovation process. The Chair educational program offers a Master degree called "Project – Innovation – Conception" for École Polytechnique students, HEC Business School and others Engineering Schools abroad. Thus, Air Liquide has access to new talents and competencies.

This collaboration with École Polytechnique strengthens Air Liquide presence within the Paris-Saclay scientific center (South of Paris) and confirms the Group’s commitment to innovation.
