Air Liquide partner of Solar Decathlon Europe, organized in Versailles, France, from 28 June to 14 July 2014

The Solar Decathlon is an international academic competition. Universities and schools from around the world are challenged to design and build a full-scale, fully-functioning house, using the sun as its only power source. The European edition will bring together 300 candidates from 16 countries, pitting 20 sustainable home projects against each other.

Air Liquide is a partner of this international event. The Group will have a stand for this event, allowing visitors to discover its "open innovation" approach, at the heart of the Paris-Saclay innovation cluster. Hydrogen will also be represented, as a sustainable mobility solution, with the presentation of a Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle, and the public will be able to try out the first hydrogen-powered electric bikes.
