Today, Air Liquide Healthcare's Home Healthcare subsidiary, VitalAire, opened Vital’City on Avenue de la République in Paris. With Vital’City, VitalAire is emphasizing its close connections with its patients by offering a new approach to caring for patients, who will now have the option of meeting with VitalAire healthcare workers on site.

Vital’City, a new center for patients in Ile-de-France region with chronic health conditions such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), sleep apnea or diabetes, was designed to meet the changing needs of today’s active and urban patients.

At Vital’City, a Nursing Advisor or Respiratory Technician is available to meet with patient, by appointment, to help them select the right device and to explain how to use it, or to replace a consumable device (mask, tubing, etc.), without the need to wait for a VitalAire team member to make a home visit.

Vital’City exemplifies VitalAire’s strong commitment to providing high quality support to patients referred by their healthcare providers. This commitment is characterized by:

  • An emphasis on close relationships with patients by providing them with a central location in Paris where they can access a full range of support measures, expert advice, information sessions and hands-on workshops.
  • An improved capacity to discuss patients’ needs and options in a warm, welcoming setting.
  • Unsurpassed quality and faster response times that, in combination with home healthcare and hospital-based services, help patients rapidly initiate and continue their treatment.
