Air Liquide New Zealand Limited was established in 1983 as a result of a merger between Mesco Gas Limited and Carba Industries Limited and is now a fully owned subsidiary of Air Liquide.

With the impetus of the international company, Air Liquide New Zealand Limited has grown steadily and is represented in Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, Palmerston North and Christchurch, with a network of Agents located in centres around New Zealand.
