In Taiwan, Air Liquide Group invests and owns two subsidiaries: Air Liquide Far Eastern (ALFE) and Air Liquide Electronics Systems (ALES) Asia.
Air Liquide Far Easter (ALFE), founded in 1987, is a joint venture between Air Liquide Group and Far Eastern New Century Group. ALFE is the number one industrial investment among French companies in Taiwan. Using advanced technology developed by Air Liquide Group, we supply high-quality gases and total solutions for customers in the fields of electronics, industry and healthcare. Today, we have close to 580 employees and offices or plants located in Taipei, Taoyuan, Hsinchu, Taichung, Tainan, Kaohsiung, as well as in major Industrial Science Parks islandwide.
ALES Asia, founded in 2006 and now counting 70 employees, is a 100% Air Liquide-owned company with its main office in Taichung. ALES Asia provides assembly equipment (gas cabinets) for electronics customers.
