The Group is strengthening its positions through new plants and long-term contracts, while also deepening execution capabilities through engineering expertise and targeted portfolio expansion.

Asia-Pacific is undergoing a distinct industrial transformation, driven by strategic relocation in key sectors, which is reshaping supply chains, and by the region's leadership in advanced manufacturing. The semiconductor market is the primary catalyst of this growth, creating significant opportunities for industrial gases as production capacity expands across the area. Taiwan Island, South Korea, Singapore, Japan and Mainland China are investing heavily, powered by digitization and AI.

Air Liquide is at the heart of this transformation. Our response is clear and disciplined: we are strengthening our portfolio through targeted acquisitions and densification in Mainland China and emerging Southeast Asia.

A landmark step in this journey is the DIG Airgas integration, a transformative step and our largest transaction in a decade. This operation significantly strengthens our presence in Asia-Pacific and reinforces our position in South Korea in ultra-pure carrier gases. It is highly complementary to our existing industrial gases and healthcare activities, broadening our value proposition as we deepen our leadership in the semiconductor value chain across the region.

In parallel, we are pursuing pragmatic energy-transition projects, aligned with local realities. Together, these initiatives support our commitments to profitability, growth and reducing CO₂ emissions.
