What is it?
ALLEX (Air Liquide Leading EXcellence) is a Graduate Program designed to provide accelerated exposure and development for highly motivated fresh graduates, immersing them in various activities and functions within the Group. This program is your opportunity to develop a comprehensive understanding of Air Liquide and build leadership and business acumen through challenging early-career experiences.

Our ALLEX Programs
With the ALLEX program in Europe, you will start by taking up a permanent junior position in one of our European entities. This role will be your foundation throughout the ALLEX program, which lasts approximately two years. During the program, you will gain invaluable international exposure through a dedicated 6-month Short-Term International Assignment in another European country.
Eligibility:
- Recent graduate with less than 3 years of full time work experience.
- Dynamic, curious and has the ambition to develop within the Group and internationally.
- Demonstrates early signs of potential for leadership positions.
- Fluent in English.
- Has the necessary work permit in the country of assignment.

The ALLEX program in the United States offers two possible paths:
- The Traditional Path is an 18-month graduate program with three 6-month rotations in operations, technical, and business.
- The Base Ops Technical Path is a 24-month graduate program with predefined rotations working primarily in the field.
Eligibility:
- Must be pursuing an undergraduate engineering degree (Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical) with a graduation date of December (current year) or May (of the following year).
- GPA minimum of 3.0.
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now and in the future.
- Able to relocate to any facility in the U.S. during and post program.

Go beyond borders with the International Volunteer Program (VIE)
What is it?
In partnership with Business France, the VIE program (International Volunteer Program) is your unique opportunity as a young graduate from the European Economic Area to go beyond borders and dive into a full-time, impactful role with Air Liquide.
You'll embark on a mission varying from 12 - 24 months in one of the numerous countries where Air Liquide thrives (excluding France). You will gain hands-on experience in a technical or business function, from Digital Transformation and Finance to Project Management, Human Resources, Business Analysis, and Engineering.

In addition to our ALLEX and VIE programs, many of our other entities offer specific graduate and trainee programs.
What is it? The Airgas Rotational Career (ARC) Program is a paid 2-year program with three 8-month rotations and nationwide placements. It prepares rising talent for careers in Engineering, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain Management.
Who is it for? Open to recent college graduates (within the past two years) with a GPA minimum of 3.0. Candidates need relevant internship or co-op experience, must be eligible to work in the US without restrictions, and be flexible on location.
What is it? An 18-month program wherein graduates rotate to three different departments every 6 months. It includes both engineering and commercial streams.
Who is it for? Graduates who have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical) degree in the last three years. Must have valid work rights for at least 18 months from January 2026 and be available to start full-time from that date.

QIHANG Program (Management Trainee): For current-year university graduates (bachelor's or higher). Offers 12-18 months of rotational training to develop high-achieving talent for future core roles. Eligibility: Less than 3 years after graduation (or expected 2026 graduate).
DENGYUE Program (Fresh Graduate): For university graduates (college degree or higher). This program aims to quickly develop local technical experts through specialized training and focused work. Eligibility: Less than 3 years after graduation (or expected 2026 graduate).
What is it? A program aimed at future graduates (0-12 months before graduation) who are deemed to have high potential to become future leaders and/or specialized engineers.
Who is it for? Those less than 3 years after graduation (or expected to graduate within a year). A STEM background, comfort with English, and openness to transfers nationwide are preferred.
What is it? A structured 2-year program with 3 rotations for fresh graduates, designed to provide high-impact development experiences.
Who is it for? Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Open to entry-level applicants (less than 3 years of full-time working experience).
What is it? A trainee program for fresh graduates to cultivate future talent in managerial/technical roles. The program involves 2-3 position rotations or multiple projects over 18 months.
Who is it for? Candidates with less than 3 years of working experience (part-time/internship excluded). An English certificate (e.g., TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS) is required.

Our academic partnerships
For Air Liquide, a partnership acts as a strategic bridge between academia and industry. These collaborations go beyond standard recruiting by integrating the company directly into the educational journey, offering students practical experience.
What is it? A key collaboration with Xi’an Jiaotong – Liverpool University for the co-supervision of Master's students. We are working together to develop multidisciplinary profiles by integrating industrial challenges directly into the curriculum. The projects carried out by students during their internships within Air Liquide's R&D department count towards their degrees.
Who is it for? Master’s and above students. Selected students work as full-time interns for 6 months to 1 year in Air Liquide R&D under the supervision of a qualified researcher.
What is it? A formal Cooperation Memorandum with East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) International Elite Engineering School to support the development of Chimie Shanghai. As a member company of the "Council for Promoting the Integration of Industry and Education", Air Liquide contributes to curriculum, practice, and overall school-enterprise cooperation.
What is it? Air Liquide partners with the Collège des Ingénieurs to find top engineering and science graduates. This unique program enriches students' background with management skills through classes and a 10-month company-based consulting assignment at Air Liquide, marking the beginning of a fulfilling career. Today, we count more than 100 alumni worldwide from this partnership.
Who is it for? Candidates must be part of the MBA Collège des Ingénieurs in Paris, Munich, or Turin. Selection is via the CDI direct selection process.
What is it? This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Ewha Womans University is built on three main pillars: research collaboration (including funding), course collaboration with Air Liquide guest speakers to share business practices, and active talent acquisition.
