Air Liquide in Nigeria
Air Liquide started its business in Nigeria in 1960 when Air Liquide acquired Port Harcourt Gas Producers Ltd. In 1992, the subsidiary was renamed Air Liquide Nigeria Plc. Nigeria is a key market for Air Liquide’s operations and development in the African continent.
Air Liquide supplies industrial and medical gases, specialty gases, as well as welding and fire equipments to various industries : oil & gas, automotive and fabrication, food and pharma, and healthcare.
We operate several sites in the country, including Port Harcourt and Lagos:
- An oxygen and nitrogen production site
- Several oxygen conditioning centers
- A gaseous conditioning center for oxygen, nitrogen, argon (and mixtures)
- An acetylene production site
