Exhibition entitled “Observatory of Innovations” opens its doors on December 23 2008, in the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie in Paris. Air Liquide contributes by providing exhibit on hydrogen, new energy.

The Group participates in the Observatory of Innovations, a unique space that puts the spotlight on innovation in companies. Visitors can discover these creations and understand the underlying principles, technologies and outlooks for the future.

Air Liquide’s presentation features its recent innovations on producing, storing and distributing hydrogen, which are already enabling vehicles powered with fuel cells to test this new energy in cities. At this interactive exhibition, visitors can also experience how to fill a hydrogen car tanks thanks to a working model.

Over 40 years of experience in hydrogen has enabled Air Liquide to obtain leading expertise in this field, from the production stage to its industrial uses. Hydrogen is also a solution to 2 challenges faced by our society: develop new energies and reduce their impact on the environment.
