8th March: International Women's Day

  • News

Air Liquide joins in International Women's Day, celebrated around the world on 8th March every year.

International Women's Day is the opportunity for companies to review the policies and initiatives implemented for professional equality and the balance of responsibilities.

Since the start of the year, the Group has been involved in two events to promote gender equality: Air Liquide is sponsoring an exhibition at the Musée du Quai Branly in France, entitled "L’ORIENT DES FEMMES, vu par Christian Lacroix"; it is also a partner of the photo exhibition "Femmes éternelles à travers le monde", which is being displayed on the fence surrounding the Jardin du Luxembourg in Paris, initiated by the Senate under the patronage of UNESCO.

Diversity is a strategic element of the Human Resources Policy of the Group, which is convinced that it can help to improve dynamism, creativity and performances. For several years now, Air Liquide has been organizing initiatives to reinforce equality and the balance of responsibilities between men and women in the Group, as well as women's place within its organization.
