The fruit of a joint project between Dinno Santé, an Air Liquide subsidiary that specializes in the global treatment of patients with diabetes, and the non-profit AJD*, this application, which was designed to function as a game, helps children between the ages of 8 and 12 better understand diabetes.
Developed in partnership with i-Lab, Air Liquide’s laboratory for new ideas, the application features GlucoZor, a diabetic dinosaur. He invites the player to take care of him through food and entertainment while keeping glucose levels within acceptable ranges, in particular with the help of the right dose of insulin.
The application, available in French via Google Play, Apple Store, and the www.Glucozor.fr website, also encourages the family and friends of kids with diabetes to support them in the daily management of their condition.
