Air Liquide takes part in the “New Energy Technologies” MOOC*, developed by Grenoble Ecole de Management and Tenerrdis Cluster, in partnership with other Rhône-Alpes area manufacturers like the CNR, General Electric, Think Smart Grids and the engineers college Grenoble INP – Ense3. This six-week online training will begin on March 14th, 2016.
Those energy solutions, 100% carbon-free, are going to be part of the new energy sources mix. With this MOOC, Air Liquide is willing to develop a teaching tool in order to cope with the rising requests for more information about hydrogen and biogas. This training is also aiming at providing the Group’s employees with a training tool easy to access.
Each course week will be dedicated to one topic among the following six: energy efficiency, solar, hydropower, smart grids (smart network for electricity grid), biogas and hydrogen, two topics sponsored by Air Liquide.
The courses themselves are made out of several videos of about 10 minutes each. In English, with both English and French subtitles, they will hand over to various speakers, of which several Air Liquide experts, to give participants a comprehensive overview on a selected theme (energies and new technologies, usages, market organization and the key players, development opportunities and innovation, etc.).
