Air Liquide Romania is the Romanian affiliate of the world leader in gases, technologies and services for industry and health, Air Liquide Group.
Air Liquide is present in Romania since December 1999. Ever since, more and more customers have added to the company portfolio. In 2005, Air Liquide Romania has signed a contract with one of the glass manufacturing industry leaders, for their flat glass producing unit in Calarasi. Consequently, Air Liquide Romania has based there its first Air Separation Unit, producing nitrogen, oxygen and hydrogen.
At the beginning of 2008, Air Liquide Romania has also started the first acetylene plant in Braila, in the frame of a partnership with one of top world shipyards.
Investments have followed and in 2010 the first filling station of air gases and argon mixtures was commissioned in Buzau from which customers in Muntenia and Moldavia regions started to be delivered in packaged gases products. The second filling station has been commissioned in 2015 in Cluj-Napoca from which customers in Transylvania region are delivered.
Based on the Group's "Zero Accidents" policy, Air Liquide Romania values labour safety and develops various preventional programmes in all its producing units.
