We take you behind the scenes of Air Liquide's preparations for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024. It's going to be some sport!

As the Official Hydrogen Supporter of Paris 2024, Air Liquide supplies hydrogen from renewable sources to power some of the vehicles in the official Paris 2024 fleet. As with a top-level athlete, preparation is a key factor in achieving the feat! For several months now, Air Liquide employees have been giving their all to make the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024 a success.

Hydrogen conditioning, a key step towards Paris 2024

At one of Air Liquide's main conditioning centers, the ballet of operators and latest-generation semi-trailers is in full swing. Here, hydrogen from renewable sources is compressed to 300 bar before being transported to the Paris region. Over the summer period, more than 22 tonnes of hydrogen will be supplied to the Paris stations. A logistical challenge of the utmost importance, but one which the teams are determined to meet with flying colors.

Hydrogen stations in the home stretch

As for the hydrogen stations, Air Liquide teams are hard at work to ensure the commissioning of the equipment that will complete and densify the distribution network in the Île-de-France region. This commitment also covers the maintenance of stations in operation. A key role in the run-up to the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024 to guarantee the reliability and availability of the hydrogen stations mobilized.
