Access Oxygen™: oxygen saves lives, let's make it accessible!

Today, more than half of the world’s inhabitants do not have access to medical oxygen, particularly in rural communities in low- and middle-income countries. Air Liquide is making it accessible with Access Oxygen™.

The story of Access Oxygen™ began in 2016 at the Air Liquide’s innovation incubator. Its ambition? Aiming to develop an innovative oxygen therapy solution suitable for use in rural healthcare facilities in low- and middle-income countries.

Access Oxygen™ is therefore supporting more than 200 healthcare facilities in Africa and facilitating access to medical oxygen for nearly 2 million people, by working alongside patients, professionals and healthcare facilities. This program relies on the expertise of the Air Liquide Group to make medical oxygen accessible, while contributing to the efficiency of healthcare systems.
