Executive Committee
The Executive Committee coordinates the management of the Group’s various programs and activities, with a particular focus on reviewing operational management in terms of objectives, progress and action plans, change management, HR strategy and business development.

François Jackow
Chief Executive Officer
Born in 1969 - French nationality
François Jackow joined the Group in 1993. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Air Liquide since June 1st, 2022. He chairs the Executive Committee of which he has been a member since 2014.
After starting with Air Liquide, he has held various positions in Marketing, Business Development, Engineering and Strategy in the United States, the Netherlands and France.
From 2002 to 2007, François Jackow was in charge of Innovation, as Vice President of Research, Development, and Advanced Technologies for the Group.
From 2007 to 2011, he was President and CEO of Air Liquide Japan based in Tokyo.
From 2011 to 2014, he headed the Large Industries business line and from 2014 to 2016 was in charge of Corporate Strategy.
From 2016 to 2022, he supervised Europe Industries, Europe Healthcare and Africa / Middle East / India hubs, as well as the Healthcare business line. From 2020 to 2022 he also supervised the Innovation, Technologies and Digital / IT functions.
François Jackow’s educational background is in Research in chemistry and biology and in business administration both from France and the United States.

François Abrial
Senior Vice President
Born in 1962 - French nationality
After working for 10 years with Danone, François Abrial joined the Group in 1996. He is currently Senior Vice President in charge of the Asia Pacific hub.
When he joined Air Liquide, he served as Managing Director of a subsidiary in France (Carboxyque) and then as Group Deputy Human Resources Director.
From 2004 to 2007, he supervised the Medical Gases and Medical Equipment businesses before taking on responsibility for the Africa and Middle East zone for several years.
In 2010, he was appointed Vice President of Human Resources for the Group.
François Abrial has a business degree.
He has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2011.

Ronnie Chalmers
Vice President
Born in 1968 - British nationality
Ronnie Chalmers joined Air Liquide in 2006. He is currently Vice President for the Africa Middle East India Hub based in Dubai.
He has over 30 years of experience in the gases business in both finance and commercial roles.
Ronnie Chalmers began his career with Air Liquide as Chief Financial Officer of Air Liquide Japan based in Tokyo. In 2010, he was appointed Head of the Large Industries European Platform. In 2011, he became Managing Director of Air Liquide Benelux Industries. In 2016 he was appointed Large Industries Vice President for Europe Industries hub.
Ronnie Chalmers’s educational background is in engineering.
He has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2022.

Marcelo Fioranelli
Vice President
Born in 1968 - Brazilian nationality
Marcelo Fioranelli joined Air Liquide in 2001.
He is currently CEO of Airgas, an Air Liquide company, operating the Air Liquide Group’s Industrial Merchant and Healthcare activities in the United States and headquartered in Radnor, Pennsylvania.
Marcelo Fioranelli previously served as Senior Vice President for Air Liquide’s Americas hub based in Houston after leading Air Liquide entities in China and Brazil.
His educational background is in business administration, marketing and metallurgy engineering.
He has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2021.

Matthieu Giard
Vice President
Born in 1974 - French nationality
Matthieu Giard is currently Vice President supervising the Industrial Merchant business line and Hydrogen activities.
After a first experience in the consulting industry, Matthieu Giard joined Air Liquide in 2004 in the Industrial Merchant operations in Benelux. In 2008, he became Industrial Director for the Medical Gases activity in the United States, before being CEO of the Canadian Healthcare operations.
From 2014 to 2018, he managed the Dubai Hub supervising operations in Africa, Middle East and India.
Matthieu Giard's educational background is in engineering and management.
He has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2019.

Michael J. Graff
Executive Vice President
Born in 1955 - American nationality
Michael Graff joined Air Liquide in 2007. He is currently Executive Vice President, in charge of the Americas hub. He is also supervising the Electronics business line. He also supervises the Engineering and Construction activity.
He is also Chairman of the Board of Airgas.
He is a senior executive with over 30 years of experience in the energy, chemicals and polymers industries across the Americas, Asia and Europe. He began his career with Amoco and BP, plc and has then served as president or CEO of several global chemical and polymer businesses.
Michael Graff’s educational background is in chemical engineering, business, and executive management.
He has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2009.

Armelle Levieux
Vice President
Born in 1973 - French nationality
Armelle Levieux joined Air Liquide in 1996. Since 2017, she is Vice President, Group Human Resources.
Since joining the Group, she held various positions in the fields of business development, marketing and operations in Europe. In 2013, she was appointed Chairman of the Management Board of Seppic, the specialty ingredients subsidiary in the Healthcare activity.
Armelle Levieux has a degree in engineering.
She has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2017.

Emilie Mouren-Renouard
Vice President
Born in 1979 - French nationality
Emilie Mouren-Renouard is currently Vice President in charge of Innovation, Intellectual Property, Digital & IT, as well as the Global Markets & Technologies division.
She joined Air Liquide in 2004 as Business Developer. She then held various positions in different geographies, notably in R&D in France and business development for Large Industries in the United States.
Most recently, she was Vice President Metal Fabrication, in charge of the Packaged Gases and Welding Products business for Air Liquide Canada.
In 2018, Emilie Mouren-Renouard supervises the Digital & IT department.
Emilie Mouren-Renouard’s educational background is in engineering.
She has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2019.

Jérôme Pelletan
Chief Financial Officer
Born in 1970 - French nationality
Jérôme Pelletan is currently Chief Financial Officer for the Group. He also supervises the Shareholder Services Department.
Prior to joining Air Liquide in 2006, Jérôme Pelletan held financial management roles at Deloitte, Accor and Hermès.
After a first experience in the Air Liquide Head Office in France as Director Organization & Accounting Standards, Jérôme Pelletan then developed his experience as Entity CFO in Taiwan. In 2012, he became CFO & Operations Controller for Latin America, in Brazil. Then he became in 2014 Chief Financial Officer for the Americas Hub (United States, Canada, Latin America), based in Houston (USA).
He was notably in charge of the financial integration of Airgas into Air Liquide in the United States.
Jérôme Pelletan holds a Master Degree in Business and Finance.
He has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2021.

Jean-Marc de Royere
Senior Vice President
Born in 1965 - French nationality
Jean-Marc de Royere began his career with Air Liquide in 1990. He is currently Senior Vice President in charge of societal programmes. He is also Chairman of the Air Liquide Foundation.
He began his career with Air Liquide in the Engineering field, in a sales position, moving in 1993 to business development in large industrial markets, first in France then in Hong Kong.
He was appointed head of Group Strategic Planning in 1995, adding Corporate Controlling in 1997. From 1999 to 2004, he started a technology business for the Group (“VSD”), through acquisitions.
In 2000, Jean-Marc de Royere was appointed head of the Group’s Healthcare Division, which he developed internationally, particularly around home healthcare.
In January 2010, he was appointed head of Air Liquide’s Asia-Pacific business, while being based in Tokyo.
He next moved to Frankfurt (end of 2013) where he started the Group’s sustainability programme, as it was focusing on air quality and the climate.
Jean-Marc de Royere has a business degree.
He has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2000.

Diana Schillag
Vice President
Born in 1971 - German nationality
Diana Schillag is currently Vice President in charge of Healthcare activities in Europe and supervises the Healthcare world business line. She also supervises the Sustainable Development, the Group’s Societal Programs, including the Air Liquide Foundation and the Procurement and the Efficiency Programs at Group level.
She started her career in 1995 at Air Liquide in Germany in the Industrial Merchant activity, in sales and marketing. From 2000 to 2006, she held several senior positions in France in eBusiness, Human Resources and Sales Force Effectiveness.
She joined the Healthcare activity in 2007 as General Manager of Home Healthcare in Germany. She then led Air Liquide’s Healthcare world business line between 2012 and 2016.
Diana Schillag educational background is in management.
She has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2019.

François Venet
Senior Vice President
Born in 1962 - French nationality
François Venet joined Air Liquide in 1988. He is currently Senior Vice President supervising the Large Industries business line and the Group's strategy function.
François Venet began his career with Air Liquide as a Development Engineer and then a Product Manager before moving to the United States in 1992 to hold various management positions in Air Liquide’s U.S. operations, including Senior Vice President for the Industrial Merchant Business Unit.
In 2002, Francois Venet returned to the Group’s headquarters and served as Vice President for Acquisitions, Strategy and Operations Control. In 2005, he was appointed Vice President for European Integration and Development, responsible for Central European industrial functions.
He moved to Frankfurt in 2007 to lead the newly acquired Lurgi Group, an engineering company. In 2011, he was appointed Vice President of Engineering & Construction. In 2013, Francois Venet was appointed Executive Vice President for the Asia Pacific zone. In 2015, he was appointed Executive Vice President of the Shanghai Hub, leading operations in Asia Pacific.
François Venet’s educational background is in engineering and business administration.
He has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2014.

Pascal Vinet
Senior Vice President
Born in 1962 - French nationality
Before joining Air Liquide in 1986, Pascal Vinet worked for the NASA in Cleveland (United States).
He is currently Senior Vice President in charge of the Europe Industries hub and supervises the Africa Middle East India hub. He is also in charge of the Safety and Industrial System function.
In his 35 years with Air Liquide, Pascal Vinet has held diverse positions in many different geographies, including Managing Director of Air Liquide Australia from 1995 to 1998, COO of the French Industrial Merchant activities from 1998 to 1999, Vice President for Research & Development from 1999 to 2002, and President of the U.S. Industrial Merchant activities from 2002 to 2005.
From 2005 to 2009 he served as Strategic Control Vice President in charge of Group corporate functions (Operations Control, Strategic Planning, Procurement, IT). Between 2010 and 2016, Pascal Vinet served as Vice President supervising operations worldwide for Air Liquide Healthcare.
From 2016 to 2021, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Airgas in the USA.
Pascal Vinet’s educational background is in engineering and he holds a PhD in physics.
He has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2011.
