Funding scholarships in partnership with the MFEA

  • News

Air Liquide and the French Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs (MFEA) have just signed a partnership agreement to fund a scholarship programme aimed at non-French students who want to come and study in France.

This programme, named ALIS (Air Liquide International Scholarship), will start in September 2010.

For the first year, Air Liquide is sponsoring 9 scholarship winners from Saudi Arabia, Côte d'Ivoire, India, Madagascar, Morocco, and Russia. They will follow a Master 2 or a specialised Master in Energy, Industrial Engineering, Engineering, or Economics / Finance at Ecole Centrale Paris, Ecole Polytechnique, or Université Paris Dauphine.

Air Liquide will grant them a scholarship, and give them tutoring with the company, an end of study internship with one of the Group's subsidiaries in France, and support in the form of career guidance at the end of their stay, with the possibility of a job with Air Liquide in their home country.

This programme is part of Air Liquide's policy aimed at young graduates: Transmitting the Group's values, and recruiting and developing the skills that are adapted to current needs and future growth.
