ALIAD, the Air Liquide group’s venture capital arm announces it has invested in Proxem, a software publisher specializing in the semantic analysis of textual big data.
ALIAD’s investment in Proxem supports the Group’s digital transformation through Proxem’s expertise in big data treatment. Air Liquide and Proxem have already worked together several times since 2014, including collaboration on the analysis of customer surveys conducted regularly by the Group.
With this investment, Air Liquide offers Proxem its industrial and technological expertise, thanks to the support of its R&D and Digital transformation team. This will allow Proxem to accelerate the pace of development on its commercial offer globally, while maintaining its level of R&D investments.
After having invested in SIGFOX in 2015, this is the Air Liquide group’s second investment in start-ups that are leading the digital transformation.

A player in big data, artificial intelligence and digital transformation, Proxem helps companies extract relevant information in real time, from a large volume of textual data in the field of customer knowledge, market intelligence and human resources.
