Air Liquide Vietnam (ALV) hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony on February 19th, 2017 to celebrate the commencement of its new Air Separation Unit (ASU) at its facility in Yen Phong industrial zone, Bac Ninh.

The honourable presence of Air Liquide VPs: Pierre Dufour - Senior Executive Vice-President (center), Francois Abrial - Executive Vice-President (3rd from right), Virginie Cavalli (3rd from left)- CEO Southeast Asia and Kensuke Nakasuji (2nd from left) - General Director of ALV asserted the interest of Air Liquide in the exciting and dynamic market of Vietnam.

Vietnam is attracting the increasing foreign investment to support the country’s rapid growth and has demonstrated solid growth in recent years, especially in the Bac Ninh area.

The new ASU, the third now in operation at the northern province of Bac Ninh, places Air Liquide strategically to fulfil the increasing demand of air gases (nitrogen, oxygen and argon) in a range of industries, including electronics, glass, manufacturing, automotive, construction, photovoltaic and food.

Virginie Cavalli, CEO of Air Liquide Southeast Asia, stated: “It’s our pleasure to celebrate the opening of our new production site in Vietnam for further contribution to the country’s development. Air Liquide Vietnam is now going to be in a new page of growth. This new facility will provide more reliability of production and support the growth demands of our customers.”
