  • News

On the occasion of the 12th Week for the Employment of the Disabled, from November 17 to 21, 2008, in France, Air Liquide is mobilizing to promote meeting disabled people through actions carried out in partnership with the ADAPT and the AGEFIPH.

For Air Liquide, diversity and equal opportunity also mean better insertion of the disabled into teams. To do so, Air Liquide signed a corporate agreement, in France, favoring the integration of the disabled (2007-2009). It aims, in particular, at favoring the employment of disabled workers, with the goal of integrating 25 new employees with a permanent contract by the end of 2009. This action is being coordinated on a nationwide level by the Handicap Air Liquide mission.

For the last several years, diversity has been one of the pillars of human resources strategy. The Group puts this strategy into action on every register: nationalities from around the world, men and women of different ages and experience. Theses differences are one of assets’ Group and favor innovation, creativity and dynamism in company. As one example, 200 senior managers of Air Liquide come from 22 different countries and 85% of them have international experience.
