As Official Hydrogen Supporter of Paris 2024, Air Liquide is supplying the 500 Toyota Mirai vehicles of the event's official fleet with hydrogen of renewable origin, as well as electro-hydrogen generators at the competition venues in Versailles and Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, throughout the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024.
In addition to these actions in support of Paris 2024, Air Liquide is also supplying its partner, Toyota, which is proud to be presenting numerous hydrogen mobility applications at the XXXIII Olympiad.
Air Liquide is supplying hydrogen to 10 coaches and 9 buses used to transport Toyota's guests during the Paris 2024 Games, as well as a truck transporting the APM (Accessible People Mover) between the various Paris 2024 competition venues. The Group is also supplying the hydrogen needed to refuel the Hilux hydrogen pick-up prototype that will be used at the Versailles competition site, as well as other hydrogen vehicle prototypes, including a hydrogen fuel-injected demonstrator car.
The hydrogen supplied is of renewable origin, i.e. produced from water electrolysis or biomethane with guarantees of origin.
We share Toyota's conviction that hydrogen is an essential pillar of the energy transition. That's why we're proud to be working with them to make the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024 an innovative showcase for mobility that is both inclusive and sustainable.
