Corporate Social Responsibility
In 2014, Air Liquide in Russia decided to support the Children in Need project managed by a volunteer-based charity helping orphans. The aim of the project is to give orphaned children the medical treatment they need and help improve the conditions for their hospitalization and rehabilitation. Particular attention is paid to the adoption of these children and to paying for round the clock nursing services. Air Liquide made the first contribution to this project and encouraged employees to donate any amount they could. For each ruble donated by employees, Air Liquide matched the gift with an additional ruble, bringing the final total to about €3,000. Employees were also encouraged to support this project directly by volunteering their time. Since that time twice a year in Moscow office AL organizes a Charity Fair to support the orphan children through Children in need project. In 2018 AL supports the foundation “Vykhod” (autism problems in Russia) and project of "House with light".
