Free share attribution

Air Liquide regularly attributes free shares to all its Shareholders.

The June 12, 2024 free share attribution, based on one free share for every 10 shares held, is the 32th in Group history.

To benefit from this free share attribution, you do not have to do anything. The new shares will be automatically added to your portfolio and you will then receive any fractional rights in your bank account.

Note: if your shares are eligible for the loyalty bonus, then the newly acquired shares will also be eligible for this advantage. These new shares have the same characteristics as the shares from which they issue (same value code), and therefore you will not be able to differentiate between them.

If you hold your registered shares for more than two full calendar years, the loyalty bonus gives you a 10% increase in the number of free shares you will receive (according to the conditions set out in Air Liquide's articles of association). For example, in the 2024 attribution, one free share was given for every 10 shares held, each shareholder who owned 100 shares in registered form acquired before January 1, 2022, received 10 + 1 = 11 new shares.

For more information, visit our page dedicated to the free shares attribution. Or consult our dedicated Factsheet.

If the number of shares you hold is not a multiple of the allocation ratio, you will receive directly into your bank account a payment corresponding to the value of the fraction of the share that cannot be distributed, called "fractional rights".
